See the Cruelty page to know how to identify cruelty. Animals should always have food, water, shelter from the
elements, and should have access to proper health/medical care. Check your local county/city website to know
how to contact animal services for non-emergencies.

Consult the local animal shelter daily and hurry - most shelters euthanize! Post signs and check with local
vets. To prevent loss, COLLAR and MICROCHIP your pet today! Most shelters and vets can help!

SPCA McKinney Exchange - Rescues from local animal shelters and handles adoptions
The Collin County Animal Control Facility shelters all lost/stray pets for the following areas: all
unincorporated areas of Collin County as well as the cities of Celina, Prosper, Princeton, Fairview, New
Hope and Melissa. They also do the housing/sheltering for the animal control agencies of McKinney,
Frisco, Anna and Farmersville. Note: County records show the sad statistics: 134 animals were
euthanized here in 6 weeks. PLEASE SPAY/NEUTER YOUR PET and ADOPT A HOMELESS ANIMAL.
