Have Mercy™, an all-volunteer organization in Frisco, Texas, was established in response to the
death of a 10-month old female pitbull mix puppy, named “
Mercy” by her rescuers, who was
tortured and eventually died in Plano, Texas, in April 2006.

The goal of Have Mercy™ is to raise support from our community to prevent animal cruelty and
ensure a peaceful life, free from suffering, for all animals. Have Mercy
 works with our city, local
authorities, local and national animal organizations and businesses, and our community to
accomplish this. We believe that together, with your help, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

We intend to accomplish this mission by doing the following:

  1. By raising and offering financial rewards for information leading to the conviction of
persons found guilty of felony animal abuse in Texas
  2. By equipping and empowering the public with knowledge, tools and resources to become
active in identifying and preventing animal abuse in their homes, neighborhoods and
    communities

Our guiding principles are simple; “No profit. No overhead. No Cruelty.”  Have Mercy™ uses
100% of it’s funding for the issuance of rewards and to educate our community about animal
cruelty prevention methods.

We also believe that regardless of philosophical beliefs, mankind has a responsibility to be good
stewards of what has been given unto him. We must take seriously our superior position above all
species and reign with compassion in our power and authority on earth.

Sincerely,
Have Mercy™

Genesis 1:24-28 "And God said, Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their
kinds--livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds. And it
was so. And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the livestock
according to their kinds, and everything that creeps on the ground according to its kind.
And
God saw that it was good.
26 Then God said, Let us make man in our image, after our
likeness.
And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of
the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping
thing that creeps on the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of
God he created him; male and female he created them. 28 And God blessed them. And God
said to them, Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over
the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on
the earth."
